Terms of service
Version 2026.09-1 · effective 01 Sep 2026
These terms govern your use of the LotsBack website and application. LotsBack is an introducing partner, not a broker: it never holds your trading money and never trades on your behalf.
01Who LotsBack is
LotsBack introduces traders to brokers. Brokers pay LotsBack for the volume introduced, and LotsBack shares part of that with you as cashback per eligible lot.
LotsBack is not a broker, not an investment adviser and not a custodian of your trading capital. It does not accept deposits, does not offer leverage and cannot place, modify or close a position on your behalf.
02Your account
You sign in with a magic link sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to that mailbox, and for the accuracy of the details you give during registration.
One person, one account. An account may not be shared, sold or operated on behalf of another person.
03Connecting a trading account
A broker connection is read-only. LotsBack reads closed positions and account metadata to price and verify cashback. It does not receive, and does not ask for, any credential that can place a trade or move money.
You may disconnect a trading account at any time. Lines already verified and released are unaffected; lines still being checked continue through the current cycle.
04Risk
Trading leveraged products carries a high level of risk and can result in the loss of your capital. Cashback reduces trading costs. It does not reduce that risk, does not offset a losing position and is not a reason to trade more than you intended.
Nothing on the LotsBack website or in the application is investment advice or a recommendation to trade.
05Eligibility and jurisdiction
Eligibility depends on broker, account type, instrument and jurisdiction. Some programmes are not offered in some countries; where that applies, registration tells you before you connect anything.
You are responsible for complying with the law where you live, including any tax consequences of cashback you receive.
06Acceptable use
Volume created to generate cashback rather than to trade is not eligible. That includes, without limitation:
- Positions opened and closed to manufacture volume, including matched or offsetting positions across accounts.
- Automation whose purpose is volume rather than a trading strategy.
- Any arrangement with a third party to share an account or its cashback.
- Any attempt to access another user's data, or to interfere with verification.
07Suspension and termination
LotsBack may place a line, an account or a payout on hold while it investigates, and will say that it has done so and why. Where an investigation finds volume that is not eligible, the affected lines are rejected with the reason recorded.
You may close your account at any time. Amounts already Available remain payable, subject to the minimum for the asset and network you choose.
08Changes to these terms
A change produces a new version id and a new effective date, published here. Material changes are notified in the application before they take effect. Continuing to use LotsBack after the effective date means you accept the new version.
